With great pleasure, I welcome you to the websites of the Cultural Association of Ambelakia.
In the cyberspace, which is the main space of information and communication, we created our own websites in order to present the historical town of Ambelakia, Thessaly, where the first worldwide co-operative was established and flourished in 1778. The co-operative was a result of the education, moral values and the spirit of noble emulation among the inhabitants of Ambelakia who managed to bring art and labor together with capital. Evidence of their achievements is the great number of monuments, which have been saved and preserved till now, as mansions, churches, fountains, documents, relics and so on.
In the websites of our association you will find information about the history of Ambelakia, maps and photographs. You will learn about our activities. You will also find information about our "jewel", the center of Cultural Heritage of Ambelakia.
